Q1: What is the Microsoft Software License Subscription Service (SLSS) that provides by Hong Kong World Wide Web Ltd (HKWWW)?
A1: HKWWW is a Microsoft® Software License Subscription Service Provider in Hong Kong and hence can provide a pay-as-you-go SLSS to our clients.

Q2: Are the Microsoft software products provided by HKWWW through the SLSS genuine?
A2: All software products, software media CD and software licenses provided by HKWWW through the SLSS are 100% genuine Microsoft products.

Q3: When I subscribed a software license through SLSS, do I own the software license?
A3: No, you don't. HKWWW owns the software license. However, you own the rights to use the software product as long as you subscribe the SLSS and pay a monthly subscription fee to HKWWW.

Q4: After I subscribed a software license through the SLSS, what will I get?
A4: Through the SLSS, HKWWW will deliver the original Microsoft software media CD to you for your installation (HKWWW will not install the software for you. Please see Q8). We will then key in our software license key to complete the installation. After you have successfully installed the software, we will take away our media CD. HKWWW will issue a certificate to you (the licensee) to authorize you the rights to use the software product. The certificate will describe your subscription details and rights.

Q5: Is there any other charges beside the monthly subscription fee? Will there be any membership fee, annual fee or startup fee?
A5: Beside the monthly subscription fee, there is no membership fee, no annual fee, nor startup fee. But, there is a one-time initial fee. The initial fee is for [1] delivering the media CD to you for installation, [2] keying in of the software license key during installation (within 2 hours upon delivery), and [3] returning the media CD to HKWWW. The initial fee is HK$80 for the first two (2) hours upon delivery (for each additional hour will charge at HK$50.) The initial fee will be waived (except the additional hour charge), if you subscribe any software license for six (6) months or more at your first order. Or, your first order amounts over HK$1,000.

During your subscription period if you need to re-install your software product, your have to pay the initial fee again for delivering the media CD to you for your installation and returning the media CD to us.

Q6: When and how do I pay HKWWW?
A6: You have to pay the subscription fee in advance. You can pay the subscription fee and initial fee by cheque or by credit card through our website. Government's user can pay by P-card.

Q7: I already bought a Windows Server 2003 box set; I just want to subscribe one more software license from SLSS. Can I use my own media and license key?
A7: No, if you subscribe the license from us, you have to use our media and license key. Also, if you unsubscribe our service/license, you have to agree to uninstall the software from your PC/server. It is illegal for your to continue use the software after you have unsubscribed the software license from SLSS.

Q8: I don't know how to install the software, will you do that for me?
A8: In case you need installation service, we will contact our agent to install the software for you. But, this will incur an installation charge.

Q9: Does Microsoft know that I have subscribed the license from you?
A9: Yes, as a Microsoft® Software License Subscription Service Provider we will report all the subscription details to Microsoft monthly.

Q10: Can I subscribe one of your software products for one month only?
A10: Yes! of course. But you have to pay the initial fee.

Q11: What is the longest subscription period that I can subscribe each time for a software product?
A11: At present, the maximum subscription period is twelve(12) months for any Microsoft software product under SLSS.
